	I would like to take this opportunity to thank the RDC team for ensuring a successful recovery of the AFS Financial system. RDC’s contribution in this exercise has certainly assisted in achieving the overall satisfactory rating.


	In our Oracle review meeting yesterday the CEO thanked all concerned for the efforts made to ensure that the March month end ran smoothly.


	I just wanted to say a personal THANK YOU to each one of you for your part in our switchover on Saturday night / Sunday morning. It was by far smoothest and fastest switchover I have ever experienced at Computicket. So far, the feedback from users running on the new system this morning has all been positive. Each one of you are exceptional in your field of expertise and it was a pleasure to work with you on this project. Thank you once again.


	Approx 30 mins later, we had our entire national RETAIL network back onto this platform and all is looking well (the load remains very low and response times are good). Thanks again for your assistance.


	I had to mention a quick few words of appreciation for the excellent service we received from RDC on Tuesday. They literally saved us from disaster and showed great skill and commitment. Needless to say, our Shoprite owners are very impressed with RDC (and also relieved they signed the contract last Friday too) – I can almost guarantee our prolonged business. 	(The RDC resources') valuable assistance with the recovery of the SUN servers after the power outage is much appreciated. Their overall dedication to assist and to drive problems to resolution (even in areas where it is not expected) is admirable.

	(The RDC resource) visited the customer in Pretoria North who experienced the DB performance problems last week, on Friday, He managed to assist them by optimizing some of the critical code used and gave some recommendation in kernel parameters etc.
